What we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry and snapshot forms: your name, email address, website URL, practice details, current enquiry levels, budget range and anything you choose to write in the message field.
- Emails and calls: whatever you share when you contact us directly.
- Client work: if you become a client, your business contact and billing details, and access you grant us to tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile or your website.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: our hosting and security provider processes your IP address, browser type and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Free Google Review Tool: the location and search terms you enter are sent to our server to fetch public Google business listings. We don't link these searches to you.
- Your cookie choice: stored in your browser so we don't ask again. See our Cookie Policy.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell your information.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- Replying to enquiries and preparing free SEO snapshots, based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Providing services you've agreed to buy, because it's necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps before entering into it.
- Invoicing, accounting and tax records, to comply with our legal obligations.
- Keeping the website secure and working, based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, reliable site.
- Loading Google Maps and our Google reviews widget, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We'll only email you about your enquiry or our work together. We don't add you to a marketing list unless you've asked to join one, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Sensitive information
Please don't include any information about your clients, or health information about anyone, in our forms or emails. We work on your marketing, not your clinical records, and we never need it.
If sensitive information reaches us by mistake, we'll delete it and let you know.
International transfers
Some of our providers, including Formspree, Cloudflare, Google and Elfsight, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK-US Data Bridge) or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so your information keeps an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our engagement plus 6 years, to meet tax and legal requirements.
- Access to your accounts and tools: we ask you to remove our access when our work ends, and we stop using it immediately.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which we ask again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that's wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month, and there's normally no charge.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use reputable providers, keep access to client accounts to what's needed for the work, and protect our devices and accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
This website isn't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. If we make a significant change, we'll make it clear on this page.
